- Unit 2 Journey to Relaxation & Unit 3 Relaxation Meditations the best and most beneficial out of all the ones we have done throughout this semester. I can implement these two practices into my personal life by taking time out and doing these mediations before and after work to make my day stress free and have less anxiety due to work related stress. These two mediations I think benefit me the most out of all of them because they are easier for me to follow because of the visualization cues. Being stress free because of mediation will open more space in my mind to be able to fill with positive things thus this mental workout will be very beneficial!

ReplyDeleteI am with you 100% about meditation and the wonderful benefits from making this a daily practice. I have noticed my stress level has decreased dramatically and I am so much happier than I think I have ever been. It seems as though you are experiencing some of the same effects and I hope that you keep feeling better and better each day!
I was thinking that since you utilize the visualization cues to guide you, that you may benefit from having a photo of some kind in your car, at work, or in a room at home where you spend most of your time so that when you need that mental break you can turn immediately to your focal point. I am not sure why it is that work has to be stressful in life, but I am glad for you that you can get even just that moment to ease your mind with meditation and of course the more habit of practicing, the better a mental fitness capacity will be gained.
